Toyota independent racer Adam Morgan maintained his 100 per cent scoring record in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship with a hat-trick of top-12 finishes at Thruxton today at the wheel of his Ciceley Racing Avensis.
With a perfect run of scores so far in the BTCC, Adam Morgan leads the four Toyota BTCC independents to Thruxton this weekend (4/5 May) hoping that his luck will hold through the third meeting of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season.
Morgan made clear his intentions in Saturday qualifying, netting sixth on the grid. He wasn’t the highest-placed Toyota driver, however – that honour went to Dynojet Racing’s Frank Wrathall, who was second fastest in his Avensis, only five-hundredths of a second off the pole.
Toyota’s BTCC independents return to the fray at Donington Park at the weekend (20/21 April) looking to build on their encouraging start to the new touring car season at the home track of the Avensis.
