Toyota’s three independent touring car teams – Ciceley Racing, Dynojet Racing and Speedworks Motorsport – are all hoping for a little home advantage this weekend as the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship swings into Oulton Park for the fourth meeting of the season.
Toyota independent racer Adam Morgan maintained his 100 per cent scoring record in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship with a hat-trick of top-12 finishes at Thruxton today at the wheel of his Ciceley Racing Avensis.
Morgan made clear his intentions in Saturday qualifying, netting sixth on the grid. He wasn’t the highest-placed Toyota driver, however – that honour went to Dynojet Racing’s Frank Wrathall, who was second fastest in his Avensis, only five-hundredths of a second off the pole.
