Toyota has announced a revision to their Yaris UK grade line up, aimed at continuing the strong success of the car since its launch in late 2011.
Toyota brings a bit of welcome styling sizzle to Britain’s bleak summer with the timely introduction of the new Yaris Edition and Yaris Trend. Adding a healthy dose of visual pizzazz to Yaris’s sharp appearance, both come with blacked-out C-pillars which, combining with darkened rear privacy glass and contrasting with Tyrol Silver or Cirrus White paintwork, create a floating roof effect.
A Toyota Yaris provided by Helensburgh Toyota has proved to be the perfect vehicle for reporter Andrew Gibson and photographer Stewart Robertson from the Clydebank Post to take part in the grueling Monte Carlo rally. Starting last week from Clydebank College through to Monte Carlo the journey covered 1,300 miles and took them through the Alps.
Work to guarantee the built-in quality of new Yaris began years before the car reached the production line. Toyota has gone to unprecedented lengths to ensure the car meets more exacting quality standards than any of its predecessors, a strategy that has called for commitment from its own teams and the close co-operation of all its suppliers.
