Double Top For Toyota Verso In Fleet World Honours

13 May 2008

For the second year running Toyota Verso has been named Best Small MPV in the Fleet World Honours.

Verso retained the title thanks to its driveability, versatile interior and the quality of its engineering, in particular the fleet-friendly 2.2-litre D-4D engine.

Ken Rogers, Fleet World Editor, said: “This segment of the market continues to grow with more and more competitors entering the sector, yet Toyota Verso’s clever packaging and interior versatility continues to win over customers in the showrooms. Compact on the outside, Verso is accommodating on the inside – and quality is excellent. The version with the 2.2 D-4D diesel has most fleet appeal.”

Richard Balshaw, General Manager Toyota Fleet said: “To win this award again is great news and testimony to how competitive Verso is in this segment.”

The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Royal Automobile Club in London on 13 May.
