MOLLY MAID OPTS FOR TOYOTA CLEAN MACHINES
When MOLLY MAID turn up to clean a customer’s home, they’re likely to be taking all their equipment and materials from the back of a Toyota Yaris.
As the UK’s leading professional domestic cleaning company and one of the world’s largest domestic maid cleaning services, MOLLY MAID carries out over two million home cleans a year. Celebrating their 25th anniversary in the industry and recent winners of the British Franchise Association’s – Franchisee of the Year Award, MOLLY MAID are going from strength to strength.
MOLLY MAID has now switched its 300-strong car fleet to Toyota. They had previously provided Vauxhall Corsas to its 71 UK Franchise Owners, but following a fleet review earlier in the year have decided to move to a Toyota Yaris – mainly driven by the model’s competitive whole life costs and Toyota’s overall reputation for reliability.
The Yaris also provides readily accessible space for carrying tools and supplies, assisted by its Easy Flat folding rear seating system therefore making it easier to load the cleaning supplies.
MOLLY MAID’s model of choice is the Yaris 1.0-litre VVTi’s TR three-door petrol versions which, thanks to Toyota Optimal Drive technology, offers enhanced performance and economy combined with low carbon-dioxide emissions. Combined fuel economy on this model is 56.5mpg, and CO2 emissions are 118g/km. In addition the model of choice for MOLLY MAID includes air-conditioning, side airbags, electric door mirrors and four-speaker radio/CD system with MP3 and WMA compatibility.
Pam Bader OBE, Chief Executive of MOLLY MAID said; “It is vital for us to be able to provide our Franchise Owners and their staff with a reliable, practical and cost-effective vehicle.
We run a market-leading and professional organisation and as such require a vehicle that is synonymous with this and is able to match our credentials. The MOLLY MAID branded vehicle has always been key to our marketing and I am delighted to be able to recommend the Yaris to our network.”
The new agreement means that around 100 cars will be supplied each year to MOLLY MAID’s franchise owners, each of which employs on average 12 maids. Each Yaris is the company car of a “route manager”, whose responsibility it is to take uniformed maids in pairs to clean customers’ homes.
Each MOLLY MAID Yaris is distinctively branded with details of the company name and telephone number leaving customers in no doubt as to the identity of their callers. Moreover, each Yaris is finished in Carlo Blue – a colour that will soon be unique to MOLLY MAID UK.
The company’s vehicles are supplied on contract hire through HSBC, on either 10,000, 12,000 or 15,000-mile a year annual contracts, depending on area covered.
