The Toyota Camry is being welcomed back to the UK

The world’s best-selling saloon will come back to the UK market next year after a 14-year absence. The new TNGA-based eighth-generation model will maintain Toyota’s presence in the executive saloon market and will only be available as a hybrid model. This will increase Toyota’s European hybrid line-up to eight models spanning the motoring spectrum. Read more here.

Toyota donates funds to improve the behaviour of automated vehicle systems

The Toyota Research Institute has donated $100,000 in support of open source platforms to help accelerate the development of simulators for automated driving. Read more here.

The Toyota Mirai has become the first hydrogen fuel cell electric car to drive the length of Britain from John O’Groats to Land’s End – a marathon not only designed to measure the revolutionary model’s performance but examine how the UK is building a national hydrogen infrastructure.
