Toyota and Lexus are performing beyond the expectations of Britain’s fleet managers in key areas, according to a new independent survey.
With a wave of exciting new models including four new tax efficient hybrids, a new communications programme, an even better After Sales proposition and systems that will deliver easier access and support for customers; Toyota and Lexus Fleet Services are investing to support their customers in the fleet market.
The new Prius Plug-in will cost less than £31,000 when sales start in the first half of 2012. This headline figure does not take into account Government funding through the Ultra-Low Carbon Vehicle grant scheme that could reduce the price to customer by up to £5,000: the Toyota has qualified for grant support by meeting the criteria for plug-in vehicles.
Leading airport taxi service Checker Cars has taken delivery of the first of an order for 80 Toyota Prius cars. The five full hybrid hatchbacks arrived at the company’s Stansted, Essex office in early March to take their place in an existing fleet of 80 MPVs, and will be followed by 10 more at Stansted over the next two months.
