Toyota bids farewell to Scott Brownlee
Scott Brownlee, Head of PR and Social at Toyota (GB), is leaving the company on 31 March, after more than a quarter of a century leading its press, public relations and social media operations.
Paying tribute to Scott’s long and distinguished service, Agustín Martín, Toyota (GB) President and Managing Director, said: “Over many years, Scott has consistently brought innovation and great personal inspiration to our PR activities, handling good news and difficult situations with equal skill, insight and commitment. His professionalism and achievements have earned him respect across our own business and the wider automotive world.
“I join everyone at Toyota in thanking Scott for his great contribution and wishing him the very best for the future.”
Scott commented: “It is hard to summarise such a long time with Toyota, as there have been so many memorable experiences. The most important thing has been the people with whom I’ve been fortunate to work with, both within Toyota and beyond. My thanks go to all of them for their support.
“My thanks also go to the journalists, editors, photographers, bloggers and YouTubers whom I’ve met and worked with. It has been – mostly – fun to work with you all.
“I’m not retiring and am looking forward to whatever new opportunities arise in the future.”
