Media advisory, not for publication – Kerry Sainsbury returns to the Toyota and Lexus press office

A news headline of a different kind from Toyota and Lexus: Kerry Sainsbury has made a welcome return to our press office team.

Following her time away on maternity leave, Kerry has rejoined us in a new role: Manager, PR and Media Relations. Having mastered the skills of parenthood over the past year, her principal duties now also include building and maintaining our media relationships and ensuring we’re delivering all our news and information to the all the right people, at the right time.

Kerry began her Toyota (GB) career as a student intern in 2011, before graduating from Bournemouth University with a degree in public relations. She joined the company full-time in 2013 as a community manager in the social media team before taking up co-ordinator and specialist roles in internal communications, product marketing and digital marketing. In 2021 she was appointed PR Operations Manager.

She said: “It’s great to be back in this new role and I’m excited both to see familiar faces and create new connections. My principal focus will be on Lexus, lifestyle media and our corporate partnerships, such as Lexus’s successful tennis sponsorship programme.”

We’re also pleased to announce that Courtney Scott, who covered for Kerry as PR Operations Manager during her maternity leave, has been appointed to the role on a permanent basis.
