Toyota Gazoo Racing to present public debut of the GR GT and GR GT3 at the Tokyo Auto Salon
Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) will present the first public appearance of the new GR GT and GT3 flagship models at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, taking place from 9-11 January. As part of the event, both models are scheduled to make demonstration runs on 10 January.
TGR will also be hosting talk sessions featuring various personalities and providing demo runs of other GR models. Detailed information can be found at,

Chairman Akio Toyoda, aka Master Driver Morizo, is scheduled to appear at a media-only press conference planned for live-streaming*1 to the general public on 9 January, starting at 9am local time (midnight GMT). The livestream will be available to view at https://www.youtube.com/live/AodXo4f46Fg.
Exhibited vehicles
The TGR booth will give visitors a close-up view of cutaway models of Toyota’s first all-aluminium body frame and its new production-vehicle 4.0-litre, V8 twin-turbo engine, both of which are featured in the GR GT and GR GT3. Other vehicles on display will include the under-development GR Yaris MORIZO RR and GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition*1, together with other concept models.
GR Heritage Parts: Exhibit of prototypes of parts slated for release in 2026
GR Heritage Parts on display are to include the prototype of a dashboard for the A80 Supra, combined with the currently available reproduced and reissued A80 gauge-area panel. Also planned for exhibit are the 4A-GE engine cylinder head and cylinder block, due for release in May 2026 for the AE86, as well as several reproduced and reissued parts for the A70 Supra, A80 Supra, and Land Cruiser. Details of availability in UK and European markets are yet to be confirmed.
