The all-new Toyota C-HR+ has been confirmed as eligible for the Government’s Electric Car Grant, securing a £1,500 customer saving on the price of a new vehicle.
The confirmation coincides with the start of sales of the battery electric SUV today (6 January). The new model is additionally available at launch with a £1,500 deposit contribution* and 0 per cent APR representative for retail customers financing their vehicle through a Toyota Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)*.

The Design model is at the heart of the all-new Toyota C-HR+ range. Standard equipment features include a 77kWh battery, 14-inch multimedia touchscreen, power tailgate, two wireless device chargers, a Blind Spot Monitor with Safe Exit Assist, heated steering wheel and 18-inch alloy wheels (20-inch alloys optionally available). Wireless smartphone integration can be used with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems.
Total Toyota Confidence: electric vehicle battery guarantee extended to one million miles
Customers buying a new Toyota electric passenger vehicle are being offered even greater peace of mind with an extension of the high-voltage battery guarantee to one million miles driven or 10 years of vehicle age. That’s equivalent to more than 40 trips around the world or two return journeys to the moon.
Such is Toyota’s confidence in the quality and durability of its battery units, the mileage limit has been increased by more than 50 per cent, having previously been set at 650,000 miles.
The battery warranty is provided through an initial eight years’ manufacturer warranty from the vehicle’s registration date. An additional 12 months’ warranty is included in every qualifying service at an authorised Toyota dealer, to up to 10 years from the vehicle’s registration date. The battery is further guaranteed to retain at least 70 per cent of its original capacity, for up to one million miles or 10 years, whichever comes first, subject to annual Toyota EV health check.
