Luigi Luca’ took up the position of President and Managing Director of Toyota (GB) on 1 January 2026, succeeding Scott Thompson.

Luca’ joined Toyota (GB) in September 2025 as an Executive Advisor. He has a wealth of experience from his previous positions at Toyota Motor Europe (TME) head office and national marketing and sales companies, covering multiple roles in sales, marketing, product and digital. Most recently he was Vice President, Customer Experience, at TME and was formerly CEO and Managing Director of Toyota Motor Italia.

Luca’ is a graduate in political science, international law and economics from the Sapienza University of Rome. He also holds a master’s degree in European Studies, Economy, from the College of Europe (Natolin).
