Rob McKendrick
Director, Customer Services, Toyota GB (PLC)
Rob McKendrick was appointed Director, Customer Services, on 1 January 2023, following Rob Giles’s secondment to Toyota Motor Europe to take up the role of Head of Value Chain (Europe).
McKendrick has been a member of the Toyota (GB) team since 2008, joining the company as a manager in After Sales and subsequently Value Chain. He gained promotion to Head of Business Planning and went on to join the Sales Division in a regional role in 2014 before promotion to General Manager of Network Development in 2016.
Following the creation of the Operations Department in 2018, McKendrick moved to the role of General Manager, Network Operations, from where he was promoted to his current directorship role.
McKendrick is a firm believer in people development and creating the conditions for individuals to be successful through coaching, mentoring and being a mental health first aider.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching/playing sports and travelling.
