Datalect Extend Loyalty to Trusty Toyota
Toyota Fleet has renewed its solus deal with Datalect Group Ltd to supply their service and support staff with Toyota cars.
The previous agreement with Datalect, one of the first companies in the UK to be supplied by Toyota Fleet, has now been extended to provide both the popular Avensis and Camry models. Toyota has already supplied 200 cars and a further 150 will be delivered over the next two years.
Established in 1983, Datalect is a computer maintenance company covering all makes of PCs and related equipment. It employs 400 staff throughout the UK, mainly in service, engineering and support. Its head office is in Perivale, Middlesex where central stores, repair workshops and call control are based. Datalect also provides a computer help desk and network support and is currently active in beating the Year 2000 bug for its customers.
“We are very happy to continue our partnership with Toyota,” explained Mr Vivian Silverman, Datalect’s Group Finance Director. “A major consideration is Toyota’s reliability which is vital in keeping our engineers and sales force on the road. This, along with its extremely good value for money made it a natural choice.”
The Avensis, with its large carrying capacity and load flexibility enables Datalect’s engineers to transport all their necessary equipment and with the 1.6 lean burn engine, it offers excellent fuel economy. The Avensis comes with a wealth of standard equipment, including driver and passenger airbags, ABS and electronic sensing front seatbelt pretensioners with force limiters.
Datalect’s senior management can now enjoy the comfort, safety, and performance of the Toyota Camry along with its class-leading low running costs. Apart from being the best selling car in the US for the past two years, the Camry is also one of the most highly specified and refined executive cars ever developed by Toyota.
All vehicles are provided on contract hire through Autolease and supplied by Jemca based in north west London.
