Jemca Edgware Road Wins Toyota Business Centre Of The Year Award
Jemca Toyota has been named the overall 2007 Toyota Business Centre of the Year at an award ceremony which took place at The Belfry last week. Competition was keen among the 102 Business Centres after Toyota light commercial vehicles posted record UK sales of 9,891 units in 2007. This was up an impressive 51 per cent over 2006.
The Centres were judged throughout the year on subjects which included customer service, product knowledge and marketing activities, with three short-listed for the final prize. A list of all the winners and their categories are below:
- TFS Corporate Funding Centre of the Year – RRG Denton
- Business Centre Knowledge Award – Pentagon Doncaster
- Business Centre Marketing Award – Loders Yeovil
- Excellence in Customer Care – Pentagon Barnsley
- Best Service to Volume Fleet Account – Listers Boston
- Business Centre Volume v Sales Objectives Achievement Award – West Riding Toyota Bradford
- Commercial Vehicle Business Centre of the Year – Benfield Toyota (Leeds)
- Business Centre Administrator of the Year – Pamela Rutherford of Farmer & Carlisle Leicester
- Business Centre Manager of the Year – Andy Houston of RRG Group
- Business Centre of the Year – Jemca Toyota Edgware Road
The 102 Business Centres employ more than 220 staff to provide support in sales and aftersales within their local area for small business and the fleet market. With the Toyota LCV range experiencing strong growth, a target of 12,000 units has been set for 2008.
