New Year, New Car, Great Deal as Toyota Extends Its Scrappage Scheme
Toyota is extending its successful scrappage scheme to the end of January 2018 following a huge response from customers since the programme was launched in September. Thousands of motorists have taken the opportunity to dispose of their older, more polluting cars, trading them in to take advantage of great deals available against a new Toyota, including the latest range of petrol-electric hybrids.
With qualifying customers able to enjoy savings of up to £4,000 on the price of a new car, the scheme has appealed to customers across the board. In fact, every model in the Toyota range of cars and light commercial vehicles has registered sales through scheme, totalling more than 3,800 units.
The scrappage deals are giving many people the chance to experience Toyota’s world-leading petrol-electric hybrid technology for the first time. They are discovering the significant savings they can enjoy on their all-round motoring costs and experiencing hybrid’s characteristically smooth, intuitive driving performance with lasting reliability. Every new Toyota comes with the added peace of mind provided by a five-year/100,000-mile warranty.
Mark Roden. Toyota GB Operations Director said, “Our broad range of models has great customer appeal and we have been delighted with the interest our scrappage scheme has generated. We have seen a keen uptake of models where we have a hybrid alternative, with these versions outselling their petrol or diesel-powered counterparts. We see real benefits in continuing this successful scheme into the New Year, coinciding with the launch of our 2018 Auris range.”
