- New look and extra safety equipment for Yaris Verso

The Yaris Colour Collection Silver
First there was red, then there was blue. Now silver becomes the third addition to the Colour Collection range from the Toyota Yaris. The Yaris Colour Collection Silver is on sale from 2 January, priced from £8,895 on the road.
Finished in gleaming Lucerne Silver Metallic, the Colour Collection Silver will be offered in both three and five door body styles, with a choice of 1.0 and 1.3-litre VVT-i petrol engines with manual transmission.
All versions will come with colour-coded bumpers, a titanium-effect front grille and 15-inch alloy wheels with locking wheel nuts. The interior is finished in ‘Elipse’ grey cloth upholstery and features a leather-trimmed steering wheel, sound system with CD player and central locking. The cars will be further distinguished by special Colour Collection badging just forward of the door mirrors.
The Yaris Colour Collection Silver 1.0-litre three door model costs £8,895 on the road and the 1.3-litre version, £9,395. Five door versions add an extra £500 to the price tag.
Fresh Design Details and Extra Safety Features for Yaris Verso
The New Year ushers in a fresh look for the capacious Yaris Verso with new ‘teardrop’ headlamps and redesigned front grille, front and rear bumper sections and rear lamp clusters.
Extra safety equipment has also been added to the standard specification of all versions with front seat side airbags and a three-point seatbelt for the centre rear seat.
Unlike some of its competitors, the Yaris Verso is not a van dressed up as a car, but offers great refinement as well as practicality in its design, equipment, handling and performance. The two Yaris Verso grades have been changed from GS and GLS to T3 and T Spirit, in line with the trim classification of other Toyota models.
Metallic Crystal Silver has been added to the choice of exterior colours, while new colours and trims are offered for the interior. The three-point steering wheel has been redesigned and now comes with leather trim and built-in audio controls on the T Spirit version. The specification of the T Spirit also includes a radio tuner with CD player, while the T3 adopts a new wheel cover design.
The new-look Yaris Verso is available with a 1.3 VVT-i petrol engine with a choice of manual or automatic transmission, or a 1.4 D-4D diesel with manual gearbox only. It goes on sale in the UK on 13 January with no increase in on-the-road prices.
Satellite Navigation with Electronic Traffic Avoidance joins MR2 Roadster Options List
Toyota’s advanced satellite navigation system with Electronic Traffic Avoidance (ETA) is now available as a £1,250 option on the MR2 Roadster.
Thanks to ETA, the system not only lets you know if there is congestion on motorways and major routes ahead, it automatically plans a route around it. The package also includes locations of thousands of hotels, restaurants and filling stations across the UK.
