Not for publication: Stilyana Podmolova Returns to the Toyota (GB) Press Office
A familiar face is making a welcome return to the Toyota (GB) press office this week. Stilyana Podmolova is taking up the new role of PR Events Officer with the press relations team at Toyota’s UK headquarters.
Stilyana (Stily) will be working with Toyota’s PR doyenne Erica Haddon on designing and delivering Toyota and Lexus product launches and events for the UK media. This aspect of the Press and PR team’s work has been made more crucial – and challenging – with all UK activities currently being originated and hosted locally due to the limitations imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I am excited to be back with the team at Toyota and looking forward to immersing myself in planning and organising launch activities, which is the aspect of PR I have enjoyed the most throughout my career so far. Needless to say, I have missed the team and their passion for everything Toyota and Lexus,” said Stilyana. “There is a great deal to look forward to this year with a busy calendar of new models to be launched and an increasing focus on the company’s transition to becoming a global mobility business.”
Stilyana made her debut in the press office on a one-year student placement in 2014-15. After graduating with distinction from her BA (Hons) degree in public relations at Bournemouth University, she worked in the media production sector, focusing on the planning of automotive film and photo shoots, including projects for Toyota and Lexus in the UK and Europe. She moves to her new role from Hill+Knowlton Strategies where she worked on corporate and mobility pan-European initiatives for another major automotive manufacturer, including virtual events management.
