2016-vintage Toyotas

Hatched plan for GT86
Australian designers have come up with a new take on the Toyota GT86, producing a hatchback concept of the coupe. Read more here
Growing gas supply
A new hydrogen filling station has opened in the UK, backed by the European HyFive consortium that’s helping establish an infrastructure to support a new generation of fuel cell vehicles, including the Toyota Mirai saloon. Read more here
Conservation concern
Toyota has formed a new partnership with the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, providing grant support to help the organisation’s vital work recording global species and their risk of extinction. Read more here

The Toyota Mobility Foundation has signed up for a new urban mobility project in Montreal, as a Global Strategic Member of the New Cities Foundation.
Sales and income
Toyota Motor Corporation has announced its global results for the fiscal year ending 31 March, showing increased net revenues and income. Read more here.
Brazilian expansion
Toyota has opened its first engine factory in Brazil. The Porto Feliz plant will build petrol and flex-fuel (petrol/ethanol) units for the new Etios model. Read more here.
