Toyota out in force at Company Car in Action
The full spectrum of Toyota’s electrified cars and light commercial vehicles will give the brand a powerful presence at Company Car in Action, the UK’s leading fleet test drive event, taking place at the UTAC Millbrook proving ground on 11 and 12 June.
One Toyota Fleet Services will be offering more than just the chance to experience the latest models. A panel of its fleet and business motoring specialists will be hosting presentations and question-and-answer sessions across both days, helping visitors find out more about how Toyota can help them with their specific requirements, from sourcing the right vehicle and finance options to peace-of-mind warranty provisions and after sales services.
The event will also offer a close-up look at two of Toyota’s upcoming pure electric SUVs – the all-new Urban Cruiser and the significantly updated bZ4X, all due for launch within the next 12 months. Together, these will give the brand strong and competitive representation in the key EV market sectors.
The display – on the test routes and the show stand – is a perfect, in-the-metal representation of Toyota’s multi-path approach to offering customers a choice of low and zero emission options that best meet their transport needs while progressing towards carbon neutrality. Models available for test driving will include the full hybrid Yaris and Corolla; the C-HR and Prius plug-in hybrids; and the all-electric bZ4X.
The Toyota Professional range of light commercials will be represented by the full family of Proace Electric vans – Proace City, Proace and Proace Max. Between them, these models provide a vast range of load-carrying options and conversion opportunities. The Corolla Commercial, built in the UK, will also be present, the market’s first full hybrid small van.
The advanced Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hilux prototype will be making its first appearance at the event. Developed by a Toyota-led consortium in the UK, this version of the legendary Hilux pick-up is powered by electricity produced by an on-board hydrogen fuel cell, producing no harmful tailpipe emissions.
Neil Broad, General Manager One Toyota Fleet Services, said: “We have a great range of vehicles – passenger cars and light commercials – that can meet every kind of business need. At Company Car in Action, we’re going beyond showcasing their performance to give potential customers a deeper insight into the kind of professional services we can provide to support them, from purchase and leasing options to prompt, professional and transparently priced after sales support that minimises down time. And of course, every Toyota – cars and commercials alike – is eligible for our market-leading, up-to-10 years warranty.”
