Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) today held a media and stakeholder event at the new Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama (TTC-S), its research and development centre in Toyota City/Okazaki City, Japan.
The event showcased the front line of its ever-better car-making initiatives – where a cycle of highly intense driving, intentional breaking, rapid on-site fixing and then retesting is carried out.
To add emphasis to the occasion, the event featured the global premiere of a product of this end-to-end development approach, the all-new Lexus TZ.
As part of its future mobility initiatives, the showcase also featured demonstrations that including helicopter transportation tests and disaster preparedness drills held with local authorities and communities.
