Toyota Yaris and Avensis Red-ied for 2017
There has been a wealth of change in Toyota’s product line-up ahead of the New Year, with the headline-making arrival of the new Toyota C-HR crossover and significant upgrades for GT86, Auris, Verso and Aygo. Now it’s the turn of Yaris and Avensis to take the 2017 spotlight.
For Yaris, the supermini that has long been Toyota’s top-selling model in the UK, the focus is on colour and style with the introduction of a blazing new Tokyo Red paint option.
This can be specified both as an all-over colour, or as one of Yaris’s bi-tone options, teamed with a contrast metallic black finish for the roof, front pillars, upper front wing sections and the leading edge of the bonnet. The door mirror casings are also in black.
Choice remains a key part of Yaris’s customer appeal with a line-up of technically advanced and efficient engines that embraces hybrid, petrol and diesel, plus three equipment grades – Icon, Design and Excel.
Working on the much larger “canvas” of the Avensis, Tokyo Red is again an addition to the colour palette. The 2017 versions of the British-built saloon and Touring Sports wagon are available in the hot new shade, together with a new 18-inch alloy wheel design sporting a cool machined face finish.
Both 2017 Yaris and Avensis models are on sale now.
