Toyota Yaris honoured as the Alternatively Fuelled Car of the Year in the Car Dealer Used Car Awards

Experts have judged the hybrid Toyota Yaris to be the best alternatively fuelled vehicle on the pre-owned car market. Yaris, which introduced the concept of hybrid power to small hatchback market back in 2012, was named the Alternatively Fuelled Vehicle of the Year at the Car Dealer Used Car Awards in London yesterday (25 November).

The category covered all cars that are not solely powered by a petrol or diesel combustion engine, including battery electric, plug-in hybrid and self-charging hybrid vehicles.
