TC Facilities Management Ltd – 100 Not Out With Toyota Prius

The hand-over took place at the business’s Walton-on-the-Hill headquarters and was attended by Steven Burgess Finance Director at TC Facilities Management Ltd and Nick Bays, Centre Principal at Motorline Toyota Gatwick, which supplied the cars.

TC Facilities Management, established in 1962, has grown to become one of the largest privately owned contract cleaning companies in the UK looking after some of the largest high street brands and private sector names.  It has been a Toyota customer for the last six years with the Prius being used by their team of 65 area management staff who cumulatively cover approximately two million miles per annum.  The cars supplied vary between the T Sprit and T₃ grade models with the change cycle taking place every four years.

Steven Burgess said; “With over a dozen hybrid models already available in the UK, and several more models to be launched in 2013, the Prius remains our hybrid of choice. The Prius underpins our environmental stance of having a totally hybrid fleet across the UK.”

More than 2.8 million Prius have been sold around the globe since the original model was launched in Japan in 1997. Today it ranks as one of the world’s best selling cars and is a reference point for the success of Toyota hybrid technology and the company’s drive towards sustainable transport.  Prius has combined CO₂ emissions from 89 g/km and as a full hybrid is able to run solely on electric power at lower speed.
