Toyota and Lexus demonstrate the value of choice at Company Car in Action
Toyota and Lexus will be showcasing the benefits of its multi-path technology strategy to business and fleet customers with its latest battery electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid cars and light commercials at Company Car in Action, the UK’s leading business and fleet driving event, at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire next week (12-13 June).
Smooth, refined and highly fuel and emissions- efficient performance is matched by day-to-day practicality, competitive running costs and designed-in quality, durability and reliability.
Peace of mind for fleet managers and business drivers is all the greater, thanks to Toyota and Lexus offering a manufacturer’s warranty that can be extended up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, subject to vehicles being serviced in an authorised workshop*.
This year will see the debut of the Lexus LBX at the event, an all-new compact crossover that is a new core model for the Lexus range. Equipped with a new 1.5-litre self-charging hybrid powertrain, this is the smallest Lexus model yet, but does not compromise on the brand’s famous craftsmanship luxury and high equipment specifications.
The all-new Toyota C-HR is also making its first appearance at CCIA and will be available to test drive in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) form. This second generation of Toyota’s successful coupe-styled mid-size SUV offers increased powertrain choice, with 1.8 and 2.0-litre hybrid and 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid versions.
Neil Broad, One Toyota General Manager Fleet Services, said: “Company Car in Action is a great opportunity for fleet managers to learn from our dedicated team about our multi-pathway approach towards future powertrains and how they are key to achieving the goal of carbon neutrality. The Lexus LBX and Toyota C-HR represent the latest advances in our hybrid and plug-in hybrid technology, and, together with the wide range of models we are taking to the event, demonstrate how we have the right vehicles and powertrains to meet today’s customer needs and priorities.”
