The 2026 Toyota Yaris
Toyota is introducing some changes to the Yaris range for 2026, principally with new and enhanced equipment features for the popular Design grade.
The model gains a set of smart new 17-inch machined alloy wheels and new black fabric upholstery with contrast stitching. There are new tech features too, with the introduction of smart entry and start and a wireless smartphone charger.
Elsewhere in the line-up, the entry-level Icon grade specification now includes auto-folding door mirrors and all versions are available with a new Persian Salt metallic paint finish – including a bi-tone option for the Yaris GR Sport.
The new Yaris is on sale now with deliveries to customers expected from April.
New powertrain for Land Cruiser Commercial
The Land Cruiser Commercial follows its passenger vehicle counterpart in adopting an electrified powertrain. The go-anywhere van now uses Toyota’s 2.8 diesel 48V system, which marries the model’s existing engine with a 48-Volt lithium-ion battery. The result is smoother, quieter performance with no compromise in the model’s formidable all-terrain capabilities. Read more here.
