Tailor-made for business: all-new Toyota Hilux now available with two-seat conversion

6 August 2026
  • Factory conversion removes rear seats to create a large, flat and secure load space
  • No compromise in Hilux’s quality, performance and safety
  • Available for both Diesel 48V and battery electric Hilux models
  • Conversion enables flat-rate benefit-in-kind taxation and 100 per cent plant and machinery allowance, where applicable
  • Available to order now, commercial vehicle (excluding VAT) on-the-road prices from £36,815 for Diesel 48V and £49,356 for the BEV (including OZEV grant large electric van discount)

The all-new Toyota Hilux is now available as a two-seat model, offering more versatility and load-carrying capability for people wanting a pick-up that’s tailor-made to meet their business needs.

Launched earlier this year, the ninth generation of Toyota’s world-renowned Hilux is presented exclusively in a Double Cab body style, in line with the market’s strong preference. Customers now have the option of a new factory conversion that removes the three-seat bench from the rear section of the cabin and creates a large, flat and secure load area. Measuring 1,290mm wide and 640mm deep, it’s suitable for carrying tools and equipment, easily accessed via the Double Cab’s rear doors.

The conversion in no way compromises performance, safety or standard equipment specifications. Hilux also remains compatible with Toyota’s extensive range of accessories and customisation options.

In addition to the convenience of extra load space, the conversion brings potential savings in ownership costs for business users. It also enables flat rate benefit-in-kind taxation and a 100 per cent plant and machinery allowance, where applicable. There’s further peace of mind with Toyota’s market-leading warranty which provides cover for up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, subject to an annual vehicle service at a qualifying Toyota workshop*.

This latest development strengthens Hilux’s market appeal, founded on its fundamental Quality, Durability and Reliability and its legendary ability to take the toughest driving environments in its stride.

In line with Toyota’s multi-pathway approach to giving customers powertrain options that meet customers needs and help reduce carbon emissions, the all-new Hilux range includes both a Diesel 48V engine and a battery electric system. The BEV version has been designed and engineered to ensure authentic strong performance, with permanent all-wheel drive and the ability to tackle a wide range of off-road conditions, including wading through water up to 700mm deep.

Commercial vehicle on-the-road prices (excluding VAT) are from £36,815 for the Diesel 48V and £49,356 for the battery electric model, including a £5,000 discount funded by the Government’s OZEV large electric van grant.
