Amazon At The Hellfire Club
Toyota provides Land Cruisers for outdoor pursuits on historic estate
Toyota is supporting one of Britain’s most prestigious gunmakers and sporting agencies in a new partnership agreement. It has joined forces with E.J. Churchill, a company that has developed its historic business as a maker of fine guns to offer its customers a wide range of outdoor country sports and leisure activities.
Toyota is providing two of its top specification Land Cruiser Amazon 4×4 vehicles to support operations at the E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground, located on the West Wycombe estate near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. As well as offering some of the finest shooting facilities in the country, the venue hosts a wide programme of corporate and team building activities, including falconry, archery, fishing, sailing and off-road driving.
The 5,000-acre estate, ancestral home of the Dashwood family, is renowned for its network of caves beneath the Chiltern Hills, extended in the mid-18th century to accommodate the secret gatherings of the Hellfire Club. Today there is still fine hospitality on offer, but without the historical association with debauchery and pagan worship.
The Land Cruiser Amazons will be used to chauffeur visitors to and from the shooting ground and around the estate, providing a level of comfort and luxury fully in keeping with the fine quality of E.J. Churchill’s products and activities.
