Media Briefing – Not For Publication New Faces And Changing Places In The Toyota And Lexus Press Office
This week we are saying goodbye to Sophie Gannon, our placement student who in the space of a year has become a highly valued member of our press office team.
Sophie is returning to her communications and public relations course at Northumbria University, and passing the baton to our new recruit, Kate Lovelace.
Kate joins us from Bournemouth University where she is embarking on her third year as a PR student. As she hails from Camberley, we will be denied the cross-cultural fun we had with Yorkshire lass Sophie, but we expect that as a competitive swimmer and tennis player, she will be raising our fitness awareness.
David Crouch is also on the move, but only as far as the other side of the room. After almost 10 years as press officer he has become the latest recruit to our growing social media team in the role of Co-ordinator, Social Media Community.
Scott Brownlee, General Manager Press Relations and Social Media, continues to lead all Toyota and Lexus media and social media activities. Scott is supported by Nik Person in his role of Manager, Press Relations. Nik is the number one contact for all things Toyota and Lexus.
Erica Haddon, Manager, PR Operations, is the mastermind behind all our media events, while John Brooks, Senior Administrator, Press Fleet, is the go-to man for all press car requests. Richard Seymour, Press Officer, has all the encyclopaedic knowledge to answer all technical and product-related media enquiries. Completing the line-up is Ronnie Giles, the departmental secretary whose behind-the-scenes administrative skills help keep everything running smoothly.
