Toyota is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Ferma as General Manager, Fleet Operations. He replaces Neil Broad, General Manager Fleet and Vehicle Re-marketing, who is moving to the role of General Manager, Marketing Communications. Both appointments will come into effect on 1 January 2019.
Stuart Ferma has been with Toyota GB for more than 20 years, joining the company as a customer relations advisor and progressing through roles in sales administration, sales field management, network and channel development and customer retention. Most recently he has been the company’s National Fleet Sales Manager, giving him an excellent grounding in fleet strategy and the needs and priorities of fleet customers, ensuring continuity with the move to his new position.
“I’m delighted to be moving into this new role,” said Ferma, “our position in the fleet market has never been better. Our market-leading range of self-charging hybrid models means we are ideally placed to support fleets and their drivers with vehicles that meet their top priorities – low emissions and fuel-efficient performance, well-proven reliability, high quality and very competitive running costs, including low benefit-in-kind tax rates.
“I am very grateful to Neil for the dedicated work he has put in and the great support he has given me over the years. With my move up to head fleet operations we are also maintaining continuity in the good relationship we’ve established with our customers.”
Neil Broad has also spent two decades with Toyota GB and has led the fleet department as general manager since 2012. In his new role he will join the Toyota marketing communications team to help the focus on brand development.
