Toyota announces all-new RAV4 model range and pricing 

• All-new sixth generation RAV4 available from £43,845 on the road 

• All versions feature new Toyota plug-in hybrid technology, with up to 85 miles all-electric driving range* 

• Four equipment grades at launch: Icon, Design, Excel and GR Sport  

• Front and all-wheel drive options 

• Open for customer orders from May, deliveries from June 

Toyota today announces details of the pricing and model range for the all-new sixth generation RAV4, the latest evolution of its globally successful SUV. 

Introduced with new Toyota plug-in hybrid technology that will deliver up to 85 miles all-electric driving, the all-new RAV4 emphasises Toyota’s multipath approach towards achieving carbon neutrality, giving customers a range of electrified vehicle options to meet their driving needs and reduce CO₂ emissions. 

The all-new RAV4 makes pivotal advances in performance, efficiency, safety and the digital user experience which combine with the well-established strengths of quality, reliability, durability and versatility that have consistently made RAV4 one of the world’s best-selling cars. 

Orders will open in early May with vehicle deliveries to customers expected to start in June.  

Model range and equipment highlights 

Four equipment grades are available at launch: Icon, Design, Excel and GR Sport. Icon and Design versions use front-wheel drive; all-wheel drive is standard on the GR Sport and an option for the RAV4 Design. 

The Icon model, entry point to the range, is equipped as standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats and steering wheel, power back door and a Blind Spot Monitor. It also introduces a new-generation Toyota multimedia system with a 12.9-inch touchscreen. The specification includes a choice of solid or metallic paint finishes. 

Design grade is at the heart of the range, featuring 20-inch black alloy wheels and a bi-tone exterior paint finish. Other features include power-adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats – with a memory setting for the driver’s seat – and a wireless smartphone charger. 

The Excel offers a premium specification with 20-inch machined/black alloys, leather upholstery, head-up display, an additional wireless smartphone charger and a JBL audio system. It also benefits from additional safety technology, including Front Cross Traffic Alert. A panoramic roof can be specified as an option. 

The GR Sport model adds motorsport-influenced styling and equipment details. These include lightweight 20-inch alloys, a tuned chassis and suspension and GR-dedicated elements including front grille, steering wheel and front seats. A sunroof is optionally available.
