 A new GT86
There’s even sharper dynamic performance from the acclaimed coupe, plus a new “track” driving mode, performance instrumentation and styling details. The new two-grade GT86 range reaches the UK’s showrooms from October. Read more here.

Harnessing hydrogen
Hydrogen fuel cells are not just for new generation vehicles such as Mirai, Toyota is now using them to help power a production site. Stationary fuel cells have been installed as part of a zero emissions energy project at the Honsha plant in Japan. Read more here.

Toyota has picked up the manufacturer of the year award from the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership. The award recognises the advances the company through the progressive development of hybrid power and the successful introduction of Mirai, the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell-powered production saloon. It’s been another successful season for Britain’s Raleigh-GAC pro-cycling team this year. Toyota has backed the squad with a fleet of British-built Auris Touring Sports hybrids and has produced a short film celebrating the partnership. Read and see more here.
