Toyota Safety Sense for more models
Aygo and Yaris are the latest Toyota models to benefit from Toyota Safety Sense. A package of driver alert and emergency braking systems is now available as an option for both cars. Read more here.
An Auris by another name
In the USA the Scion iM is being hailed as one of the country’s best “back to school” cars – ideal wheels for student drivers. The iM is in fact based on the Auris hatchback and will go on sale in North America this autumn. Read more here.
Yaris Hybrid adds two new models
The Yaris Hybrid line-up has been doubled at a stroke with the introduction of new Active and Sport versions, both available with attractive AccessToyota PCP deals. Read more here.
China manufacturing changes
Toyota is preparing for a new production line at its Tianjin plant in China, a manufacturing operation established with FAW. The new line is being designed in line with the Toyota New Global Architecture, with flexibility built-in to make the changes in model or production volumes easy to accommodate. Read more here.
First quarter results
Toyota Motor Corporation has announced its global business results for the first quarter of the financial year, revealing a slight decrease in sales but 9.3 per cent growth in net revenues. Read more here.

Matthew Inman has created his own Land Cruiser, designed and built using Lego. The classic 40 Series model has now been put forward on the Lego Ideas website as potential official model kit. Read more here.
