Toyota raises the iQ at Birmingham Brain Game

6 October 2010

This year’s attendees of the annual Birmingham Brain Game event can expect a clever prize in the form of a brand new Toyota iQ.

The event, held at the International Convention Centre on 14 October, aims to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care, and plays host to a star-studded reception and quiz, before guests get the chance to bid for the revolutionary car in a live auction.

In association with Wesleyan Assurance, the car was handed over to Susan White of the Marie Curie hospice in Solihull by Craig Errington, Chief Executive of Wesleyan.

Craig said: “The Birmingham Brain Game is the biggest event of its kind in the UK thanks to the support of our business community. I’m confident that Birmingham will rise to the challenge again and we can smash the six figure target.”

With the legendary Noddy Holder as quiz master, and a variety of glitterati in attendance, guests will enjoy a champagne reception and a three course gala dinner followed by eight celebrity-hosted quiz rounds. The lucky guests will then have the chance to bid for various items including the Toyota iQ, the world’s smallest four-seater car.

All money raised at the event will help Marie Curie Cancer Care provide expert care and a better quality of life for terminally ill patients in their own homes or in the charity’s hospice in Solihull.

The event promises to be a night of challenge and entertainment, and tickets are available by contacting Susan White on 0121 366 6842 or by email, susan.white@mariecurie.org.uk.
