Toyota Mirai – Fuelled by Bullsh*t?
Toyota has recruited award-winning film maker Morgan Spurlock to look at how hydrogen fuel – the power source for the Mirai fuel cell saloon – might change the world. His first feature explains how the gas can even be made from animal waste – real bullsh*t, as the title declares. Read more here.

Recognition and rewards for Toyota Manufacturing UK
Business in the Community has presented Toyota Manufacturing UK with a Responsible Business Award and reaffirmed its status as a sustainable manufacturer. The organisation recognises TMUK’s commitment to employee welfare and to maintaining the highest environmental standards at its car plant at Burnaston in Derbyshire and its North Wales engine factory at Deeside. Toyota Red Nose Day wrap-up
Two unique Toyota models from Toyota’s press fleet have found new homes after being auctioned to raise funds for Comic Relief. The special Supra and Picnic were put up for sale as part of Toyota’s nationwide activities as an official partner to Red Nose Day, an initiative which brought in more than three quarters of a million pounds. Toyota’s fleet business is accelerating with more businesses reaping the cost, reliability and environmental benefits of switching to hybrid power.
