Toyota Proace Proves Perfect For Fleet Upgrade
The Toyota Proace continues to live up to its What Van? LCV of the Year title, proving a top choice for fleet customers when it comes to reliability, environmental performance and running costs.
Those telling qualities helped clinch a 12-vehicle deal for retailer Steven Eagell with plumbing, ventilation and air conditioning business P. Chester and Son. It was considered the ideal vehicle for the job after staff who would be using the vans were able to put one to the test and share their opinions.
Spencer Chester, managing director of the family firm, said: “Reliability is one of the most important aspects for our company and our clients, in terms of both the products we supply and the service we provide. It is important that we can reach our customers on time, safely and with all the equipment needed to get the job done.
“Due consideration to the environment, fuel economy and maintenance costs are also a priority for us, and further reasons why we decided to invest in brand new Toyota Proace vans. We also appreciated Proace’s build quality and the fact it is supplied with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty. ”
The company took a Proace on test and canvassed the opinions of its staff. There was particular appreciation of the van’s safety provisions, including parking sensors and hands-free phone operation, and comfort and convenience features such as air conditioning and satellite navigation.
Steven Eagell, founder and managing director of Steven Eagell Toyota, visited P. Chester and Son’s Bedford base to thank the company personally for its order. He said: “Steven Eagell is a family-run business, we also know and understand the importance of quality customer care. We never take any business for granted and are delighted, to help supply these new vehicles.’’
