Atomic Kitten Take Delivery Of A Toyota “Greatest Hits” Collection
The world’s greatest all-girl pop band have joined up with Toyota to drive into the New Year in a fleet of hit vehicles. Toyota has provided the girls – Jenny, Liz and Natasha – and their team with a fleet of five great models, including a pair of RAV4s, a Previa and a top-of-the range Land Cruiser.
Both Toyota and the Kittens have achieved record-breaking performances. This year is set to become an 11th successive record year for Toyota sales in the UK, while Atomic Kitten’s long-running success includes the rare distinction of having had simultaneous UK number one single and album hits with “The Tide is High” and “Feels So Good”. Currently no other all-girl pop band comes close to matching the British trio’s international chart success.
The funky RAV4 is the perfect choice for the band, not only is it fun to drive and immensely versatile, but like them it is a huge European hit, outselling all other 4x4s across the Continent.
The Previa, with its huge carrying capacity, will be perfect for ferrying the girls and all their gear on a “Ladies’ Night” out and the mighty Land Cruiser will offer them real superstar presence on the road.
This winter Atomic Kitten have been riding high with their new album, “Ladies’ Night” and a Christmas hit single with the title track, a reworked version of the Kool and the Gang disco classic. In 2004 their Toyotas will be providing transport for their busy promotional events programme as they embark on their “Be With Us” massive UK arena tour in February.
Paul Philpott, Toyota (GB) PLC Commercial Director, said: “The Kittens and Toyota are very natural partners in that they are both great success stories and have huge appeal to a wide audience. Together I am sure we can both look forward to another chart-topping year in 2004.”
