Toyota Racing connects with Le Mans fans at the track and beyond

9 June 2026

Toyota Racing will engage with fans on-site and around the world with a range of activities linked to its challenge in the 94th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours and its presentation of possibilities for a hydrogen future.

Two TR10 Hybrid Hypercars will compete for a sixth victory at Le Mans this weekend (13-14 June) in front of an expected crowd of around 300,000 fans.

Supporters anywhere in the world can follow the team’s progress via Toyota Racing’s dedicated Le Mans 24 Hours website www.toyota-racing.com/le-mans-special-2026, which features live onboard cameras from free practice, qualifying and the race, plus other content.

The website displays a new visual for Le mans, highlighting the team’s new slogan: For the Engineering Race.  These words capture the team’s singe-minded pursuit of technical mastery through relentless refinement, uncompromised by external distraction. The slogan will also be visible in the paddock and around the circuit.

At the track, visitors can learn all about Toyota Racing’s challenge in the Manufacturer’s Village. On Thursday, fans can meet the team’s drivers at an autograph session from 7.10pm (local time). The 1998 TS020 (GT-One) and its powertrain will be on view in the display area, together with powertrain from the Le Mans-winning TS050 Hybrid. A merchandise shop will also be open.

Other examples of Toyota’s motorsports pedigree are on show in the new M24 museum. A Group C Toyota chassis – displayed as a 94C-V raced at Le Mans between 9912 and 1994, finishing in the top six each time. It is joined by the 2020 TS050 Hybrid, which earned Toyota’s third consecutive Le Mans win. Rallying is represented by a Celica Turbo 4WD (ST185) which was part of a Toyota 1-2-3-4 finish on the 1993 Safari Rally.

While Toyota Racing’s past and present are visible on and around the track, the emerging future of endurance racing – and mobility in general – is highlighted in the Hydrogen Village.

The TR LH2 Racing Prototype – a Hypercar-based prototype – is on display now prior to making demonstration runs on the track on Thursday and Saturday. A virtual version will be shown for the remainder of the race meeting. Fans can discover how hydrogen fuel can deliver a more sustainable, low-emission future across different forms of transport with information displays, showcase vehicles and activities.

These displays form part of a wider hydrogen mission for Toyota Racing. The team are using hydrogen power at key moments during race week: team members arrived at scrutineering in the centre of Le Mans town in a hydrogen fuel cell bus, while the two TR010 Hybrid race cars were transported to the city in a Hyliko truck powered by Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell technology. On Friday, the six drivers will ride in hydrogen fuel cell Hilux prototype pick-ups in the drivers’ parade.
