New Corolla debuts fifth-gen Toyota hybrid technology

Toyota has launched a new Corolla range – its first models in the UK to benefit from the fifth generation of its world-leading hybrid electric technology. The new Hatchback and Touring Sports models offer more power and improved driveability with no sacrifice where efficiency is concerned. Other benefits include Toyota’s latest multimedia and safety technologies.

At the same time, there’s also a new Corolla Commercial hybrid electric van, fitted with latest 1.8-litre hybrid powertrain.

As previously, all these Corolla versions are built in Britain by Toyota Manufacturing UK.

A full suite of media assets, including press kit, high-resolution images and video footage, is available now to view and download at the Toyota media website here and here.
