Toyota C-HR grades and headline pricing
As the arrival of the new Toyota C-HR crossover approaches, highlights of the UK model grades and pricing have been revealed. The range will include 1.8-litre petrol hybrid and 1.2-litre petrol turbo powertrains, the latter with the option of all-wheel drive. Read more here.

Prius passes clean power test
Prius has proved its zero emissions potential with an impressive performance in a real-world study that monitored its performance on a typical city commuting journey. Detailed research by the University of Rome found the Toyota hybrid ran emissions-free for almost three quarters of its journey time on a 23-mile route through the Italian capital. Read more here.

Hilux Evo ready for Dakar 2017
Toyota Gazoo Racing South Africa have taken the wraps off their revolutionary contender for next year’s Dakar Rally, the Hilux Evo. With a mid-mounted V8 engine and two-wheel drive, it’s a lightweight racer designed specifically to meet the event’s special challenges and high-altitude route across South America. Read more here.

Pick of the Pixis
Toyota has launched three versions of its new Pixis Joy city car in Japan – the C (crossover) F (fashion) and S (sports) – available in a range of bright colours for both the bodywork and the cabin. All are powered by a 660cc turbo petrol engine. Read more here.

Auris hits the rally stages
The Toyota Auris – or Corolla iM as it’s known locally – has been prepped for rally competition in the USA by engineers from Toyota’s North American R&D headquarters. Recently the near road-spec’ car claimed its first podium finish. Read more here.

RAV4: Made in Europe
RAV4 production has started in Europe with the first vehicles coming off the line at Toyota’s factory in St Petersburg, Russia. Built alongside the Camry saloon, the vehicles will be sold in the Russian, Kazakh and Belarusian markets. Read more here.
